Property purchase in Cyprus is the best and fastest way to obtain a permanent residence permit with maybe best conditions in Europe.

According to the recently introduced amendments to the law, Cyprus allows people who are not citizens of the European Union to gain permanent residency with a condition they will purchase property in Cyprus.

This submission process is very simple and can be started immediately after the acquisition of real estate.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS AND CONDITIONS.

In order to obtain a residence permit in Cyprus you must purchase at least one or two new properties from a local developer for a total amount of 300 000 euro (excluding VAT, if any).

At the moment of submission of the application to the immigration office an amount of EUR 200 000 (excluding VAT) must be paid upfront in favour of covering the cost of the property (ies) and the contract of purchase of real estate must be registered at the Land Registry Authority.

The unique difference of Cyprus residency from other jurisdictions is that it is granted without expiry date, valid throughout life and is not limited to a certain timeframe as in other European countries.
